It is currently breaking box-office records and is very popular thanks to the eccentric character of Freddie Mercury.

Perhaps the most popular music biopic out there is the movie Straight Outta Compton. The movie is about the lives of the members of one of the biggest hip-hop groups ever, N.W.A. It detailed the journey of each member into becoming one of the biggest names in the music industry. The movie raked in $188 million in total and is the highest grossing movie in its genre.
